I look forward to hearing from you!

There seems to be some confusion as to how we ended up with so much inflation.  Maybe I can help.

The obvious reason for inflation is that the government printed tons more money than it had.

The government can't just issue checks far in excess of revenue without there being inflation.  It's the velocity of money held constant.

If the federal govenment writes checks, they never bounce.  So that is effectively creation of more dollars.

And if there are more dollars created than an increase in the goods and services across the economy, then you have inflation.  Again, velocity of money held constant.

This is very basic and not super complicated.

Congress keeps spending and spending without any concern for this fact or our country, and they often use a price tag in the trillions of dollars.

For those of you that still don't understand how big a trillion actually is:

  1 million seconds  =               11+ days

  1 billion seconds   =              31+ years

  1 trillion seconds   =       31,709+ years

Whether we're talking about seconds or dollars, a trillion is a really really big number.

Think about it!

God bless you and God bless America!
